BEGINNING TO FILM
When my group began filming we wanted to make sure that we would be able to get the whole hallway in the shot so we had to set up at the corner and get ready to film.

This is our group member, Diego, he was holding the camera so that we were able to see if this location would work as the filming shot. 

We didn't really look at any shooting locations since this one was closest to the classroom we were using as one of our filming locations.


 This corner was used as our shooting location because it was able to show all sides of the hallway so that we could show the two main characters as they are both walking.

      Leit Motif: This is a scene from the first avengers movie. In this shot Captain America is running from the alien race that is trying to conquer the earth. This shot show Leit motif because in the background you can hear the theme music of Captain America. Parallelism :  This shot is from Criminal Minds season 4 episode 2. In this episode the FBI's B.A.U. has to catch a serial killer that is believed to be killed by lethal injection. In this scene the B.A.U. and the sheriff of the town are looking into the serial killers grave. After they open his coffin, they expect to find his body but instead they find it empty. 5 Master Edits

  Contrast: For contrast I showed how my dog was super calm and them she was jumping all over my little brother. This shot demonstrates the contrast of how my dog acts when it's just me and her and when other people are around her. Also, this shot made me understand why you shouldn't work with family and animals. Parallelism: For this shot it showed me throwing a ball and then the next shot was my dog chasing after it as if it were still there. This one was harder to film because my dog refuses to chase after the ball but will go after the stuffed toy. Symbolism: For this shot I panned into the body of a stuffed toy dog and then I panned away from the body of my dog. This was to show the change from a fake dog to a real dog. Simultaneity: For this shot I filmed my backyard to show how empty it is, and then I had my sister film the park where the cross country meet was to show the difference between the two areas at the same time. Mise-En-Scene in The Godfather

 I am making my mise-en-scene post on the movie The Godfather which came out March 24, 1972. This movie is about the Corleone family's struggle to stay alive in the ruthless Italian Mob. This movies shows how the Corleone family has to deal with the death of each other and of loved ones, the betrayal of friends, and the rise of Michael Corleone as the new head (or Don) of the Corleone mob family. The movie was directed by Francis Ford Coppola, but the book was written by Mario Puzo. In the begging of the movie we are introduced to Amerigo Bonasera the undertaker (this is important to the story), Bonasera is explaining to Vito "Don" Corleone how Bonasera's daughter was assaulted and how the men who did it were persecuted and then they were let go by the judge who was most likely paid off.
